Hey, sports fans! Welcome to Bottle Top Sports Talk.
We (Mahoney and G) decided to start this project because there are so many things happening in the sports world every day that get glossed over. Even hours-long podcast episodes don’t have time to dive into the detail, nuanced ideas, and opinions of most of these stories. Here, and on social media, the topics we present have had time to ferment — and then allowed to breathe like a proper wine (that one’s for you, wine fans). Then we’ll mull things over together over a beer (and one for you, beer fans).
Mahoney will be blogging regularly about sporting events she’s tuned into, news she’s heard about, and stories beyond the game.
